Configure

The configure command allows you to set up the ProconTEL CLI credentials and save the configuration to a file.

pct configure

This command will prompt you to enter the following configuration details:

  1. Server URL

  2. ClientSecret

  3. ClientID

info

You need to create new External Client with ClientID - 'pct-cli' in External clients and copy Client secret value

info

The entered configuration will be saved to a JSON file named cli_config.json in the .procontel directory within your user profile. However, while the CLI can reference this file for its settings, it's important to note that environment variables take precedence over the file-based settings. This means if there are conflicting configurations between the file and environment variables, the CLI will prioritize the values from the environment variables.

Example usage:

$ pct configure
Please enter the Server URL:
https://procontel.local:9800
Please enter the ClientSecret:
TeQVpKxEKoWs2LEdk23MlEsMZVMsv0ul
Please enter the ClientID:
pct-cli
PCT.CLI configuration saved successfully!
