Log retention policy
ProconTEL 4 in the Windows version writes logs in two storages. Each storage has its own retention policy.
Application Logs
These logs primarily concern the Apps running in ProconTEL 4. They are stored in a database, and these logs are presented in the UI.
Retention Policy: A maximum of 35,000,000 logs are kept. Oldest logs above limit are removed.
Internal Logs
These logs pertain to ProconTEL 4's internal components. They are stored in the %ProgramData%\Macrix\ProconTEL 4\logs folder.
Retention Policy: Each internal component (app-proxy, coordinator, identity-server, logging-server, repository, webapp) can have a maximum of 31 files, each 100 MB in size. Files are rotated automatically, either daily or when the file size limit is reached.
The files in %ProgramData%\Macrix\ProconTEL 4\activemq\data\kahadb\ with a .log extension are ActiveMQ journal files and it is not recommended to delete them.
